UoF Helmets - Protector Race - Jockey Race Helmet

UoF Helmets Race Protector has an opaque black skull cap and is fitted with black shiny synthetic retention straps with lace adjustment in the neck. As with the higher end models the Protector Race holds the same high standard in security and snug fit. The Protector Race is ideal for any form of racing and its lower price tag often attracts the Pony Club jockeys. As with any of the other UoF helmets it is possible to customize the Protector Race with a personal nameplate. UoF Protector Race weighs between 450 - 500 grams depending on size.

UoF Helmet Specifications

All UoF Helmets are 100% made and designed in Italy. Very light weight and made with hyopallergenic materials the UoF Helmets are the obvious choice for style and safety. All UoF helmets are of course approved for racing in Sweden and are tested and certified according to the standards stated by the Swedish Racing Association, Svensk Galopp, and all other Swedish racing associations -  Eurooean VG1 01.040 2014-12, Brittish PAS 015:2011 and American ASTM F 1163-15 . Of course the UoF Helmets are CE-marked as well. 

The inside shell is made from Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), which density is ideal to absorb shocks and blows. The inside padding is soft and comfortable, made from a breathable hypoallergenic fabric and can be easily removed washed with soap and water. It is also available as a spare part. 

To ensure maximum stabiloity the retention straps are fixed to the cap with four mounting points and are made from soft and washable materials.
